Dynamite Coupons was started in 1996 and published it’s first book in March of 1997 by Peter and Cecie Stark. I (Peter) was living in Chicago selling The Ultimate Coupon Book in the NW Suburbs and Cecie was living in Houston doing marketing. We met online in July of 1996 in a chat room and began our lives typing back and forth some days for hours. In November that year we finally met face to face and fell madly in love. We got engaged that same year over the Holidays and decided to bring our lives and my coupon business to the Cedar Rapids area. I was born and raised here in the Cedar Rapids area, but had spent over 22 years in the Chicago area in Advertising and Marketing.

I tell you all this because I want you to know how grass roots we are and that we are completely locally owned and operated. What that means to you is that we have put almost 40 years of combined experience to work for our advertisers. We aren’t subject to the whims of overpaid executives who sit in glass offices, overlooking big cities, dictating to their Franchisees how to run their business. We believe in listening to our advertisers and watching what goes on in our market and make decisions that are good for all of our advertisers and the people who use our coupons.

Over the years Dynamite Coupons has grown from a mixed two color book on typical copy type paper to a full color, glossy advertising book that outshines all the competition. We have morphed, altered and changed this book over the years to fit the needs of not only our advertisers, but the public at large. We are an honest, ethical company that wants to put our efforts to work for you.
